As parents we can often times benefit from a close relationship with out pediatrician. Sometimes you need to ask a question of your physician and get a timely response. Sometimes you just need someone to tell you that you are doing a great job with your children. We all need support as parents.

This site it not meant to be a substitute for your family physician or pediatrician. However, it is meant as an adjunct. I can provide the support and guidance you need as a parent. Sometimes this means just a shoulder to cry on and someone to give you support when you feel exhausted or frustrated with your role as a parent. We have all been there at some point.

Sometimes there is no family doctor at all. This website will help you determine what constitutes normal development, what ailments can be treated at home safely, and when you should seek medical attention for your child. It also helps to explain common medical conditions in lamen terms so that parents can understand what is happening in their child's body. I think this is important to help set parents' fears to rest. As physicians, sometimes we don't spend enough time explaining things to parents because we are rushed in an office setting. Virtual visits provide a more personal and lengthy time with the physician.

The website also helps parents who just want more information to access a specialist. You may have a fantastic and responsive pediatrician. However, you would just like to know that you have someone who cares for you and your children. Someone who you can ask questions of whatever time of day and access information when you need it.
